[jira] [Created] (ZEPPELIN-446) Zeppelin should work in a Kerberos enabled cluster

Vinay Shukla created ZEPPELIN-446:
-------------------------------------

Summary: Zeppelin should work in a Kerberos enabled cluster
                 Key: ZEPPELIN-446
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ZEPPELIN-446
             Project: Zeppelin
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Vinay Shukla

Zeppelin is often used in a Hadoop cluster where Spark is running on YARN.

In many of these environments, enterprise enable Kerberos as the Authentication mechanism to authenticate services, hosts and users.

Kerberos is the de-facto standard for authentication in Hadoop ecosystem projects.

Zeppelin should support running in a Kerberos enabled environment.
This way Zeppelin can authenticate itself when it accesses other Hadoop ecosystem projects.

Note, this requirement is different from Zeppelin authenticating end use((Zeppelin-53) .
