Escaping tabs and newlines not working

Hi,
Escaping newline and tad dosent seem to work for me. Spark version 1.5.2 on emr
reading files from s3
here is more details about my issue


Scala escaping newline and tab characters I am trying to use the following code to get rid of tab and newline characters
in the url but I still get newline and… stackoverflow.com

Can you provide some code the reproduces the issue, specifically in a spark
job? The linked stackoverflow question is related to plain scala and the
proposed answers offer a solution.
