Sean Owen resolved SPARK-4168.

    Fix Version/s: 1.3.0

Looks like this was merged into master in https://github.com/apache/spark/commit/97a466eca0a629f17e9662ca2b59eeca99142c54 so I assume it's intended for 1.3.0
