[jira] Created: (QPID-1175) Virtualhosts with no name created.
Virtualhosts with no name created.
----------------------------------
Key: QPID-1175
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/QPID-1175
Project: Qpid
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Java Broker
Reporter: Martin Ritchie
Assignee: Martin Ritchie
Fix For: M3
Summary:
Looking at the running threads during test runs shows that there is a large number of threads called 'Queue-housekeeping-' showing that there are virtualhosts created with no name.
This makes debugging very difficult and a vhost with name "" is not allowed:
0-8 Spec Section 2.1.1.7:
A path name consists of any combination of at least one of [A-Za-z0-9]

Martin Ritchie resolved QPID-1175.
----------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
The null / empty name was created in the TxAckTest. Updated Test to use a named VirtualHost and updated VirtualHost to throw exception as test incase it regresses.
