RE: [EXTERNAL] - Re: user

I have just started with Chemistry. On one of the site pages it said to install the war and then hit ../0pencmis/atom (weird, but I can find the page with the instructions)
When I hit the resource I get the chemistry javax.servlet.ServletException: Service factory not available! Configuration problem? Exception.

I searched for possible solutions, but nothing obvious jumped out. I suspect maybe it’s the sample-repository.properties file. But, hard to know.

Just curious what this might be.

I soon will start trying out the Java library.

Thanks.

RE: [EXTERNAL] - Re: user

Posted by Steve Pruitt <bp...@opentext.com>.
Downloaded the OpenCMIS 1.1.0 War (fileshare).
Tomcat is 8.5.20 and I use Java 8.

I read somewhere it comes with a sample embedded AtomPub and you can test things out with /opencmis/atom. That’s when I get the Service factory not available! Configuration problem? exception.

The WEBINF/classes sample-repository.properties has this. Not sure if I need to change this. I found no instructions for the sample AtomPub.

class=org.apache.chemistry.opencmis.server.impl.dummy.DummyServicesFactory
repository.id=dummy-rep
repository.name=Dummy Repository

Thanks.

Steve,

Are you building from source or did you download a WAR from the distribution page? If you downloaded, what version did you download?

What versions of Tomcat and Java are you running?

Which repository are you trying to get running? The InMemory server or the FileShare server?

Steve,

Are you building from source or did you download a WAR from the
distribution page? If you downloaded, what version did you download?

What versions of Tomcat and Java are you running?

Which repository are you trying to get running? The InMemory server or the
FileShare server?
