using hprof with NT service Tomcat

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to use hprof with Tomcat running as an 
NT service?

i changed JVM to classic, and added the option - question is do i have to 
trigger the dump or it happens when tomcat is shut down? (basically, does 
it need JVM to stop abnmormally?) also, where would the dump go, 
System.err, System.out, or somewhere else?
