Splitting up of cocoon.xconf implemented in 2.1.7?

Hi,

some times ago there was a discussion
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=xml-cocoon-dev&m=110435349203996&w=2 about
to split up the cocoon.xconf in smaller parts and load these parts
dynamically from its location *.xconf. Is this "dynamically loading" now
implemented in 2.1.7? If yes, which block do I need for this and how does it
work? When I write my own component, can I place my foo.xconf somewhere (for
example in a certain folder) and Cocoon picks it up, is this possible?
