[jira] [Comment Edited] (YARN-7178) Add documentation for Container Update API

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YARN-7178?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16227291#comment-16227291 ]

Haibo Chen edited comment on YARN-7178 at 10/31/17 6:36 PM:
------------------------------------------------------------

[~asuresh] While looking at YARN-7421, it seems that the execution type is always set to GUARANTEED and enforce flag is always true.
(See ContainerUpdateContext.createResourceReqForIncrease()) Does that mean, if an AM tries to increase an OPPORTUNISTIC container,
it gets back an increased container but of GUARANTEED execution type? If we don't support increase an OPPORTUNISTIC container, I
think we should probably document it as well. CC [~leftnoteasy]
