Naveen,
I attached 2 patches and I hope that any of them fixes the problem.
Unfortunately I have only GCC 3.3.3 and GCC 4.1 locally.
Could you check if patches work as expected with GCC 3.4?

As suggested by Pavel on the dev list, I tried compiling DRLVM using gcc 4.1.0 and it got rid of the issue.
I also tried compiling jitrino in debug mode (modified build.sh to remove "-Dvm.jitrino.cfg=release"), and the issue went away.
