http tunnel could not work with mod_jk

Summary: http tunnel could not work with mod_jk
           Product: Tomcat 4
           Version: 4.0 Final
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Critical
          Priority: Other
         Component: Connector:HTTP/1.1 (deprecated)
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: shao@infraworks.com

the body data after the blank line in the request could not pass through the
mod_jk, tomcat server throws EOFexceptions when a servlet trys to read data
from request stream because it could not receive the data stream.
2002-06-17 17:52:17 StandardWrapperValve
[org.apache.catalina.INVOKER.FileExchangeServer]: Servlet.service() for servlet
org.apache.catalina.INVOKER.FileExchangeServer threw exception
java.io.EOFException
        at java.io.DataInputStream.readInt(DataInputStream.java:343)

tomcat4 stand alone server works fine with the http tunnel
both tomcat3 and tomcat3 with mod_jk(for 3) work fine
