Fwd: The revival of rsync+http

I guess people around here are aware of Tridge's old rproxy, which was
mentioned here before:

This post is just to mention that there is a revival of the concep,
being hacked into an apache module. There is a lousy wikipage here

starting to take shape in

Also - the mozilla project  has a GSoC project for "web pages over
rsync", which hopefully will use the same protocol as well --
