Xml schema

hello Group,
 
GM.
 
i have been given both xml and xsd files. should i parse the xml based
on the xsd? i need the information from the schema to be used
in the JAVA gui. Any suggestions?

I have a hashmap in my my value object & axis 2 has generated a method
inside my stub with the below signature.

 

public org.apache.axiom.om.OMElement getTestMap() {

            return localCurrencyMap;

        }

 

How do I retrieve the values from the OMElement?
