svndumpfilter not removing empty revs
Hello list,
I just did an "svnadmin dump repoA > repoA.dump" and filtered it like
so: "svndumpfilter --renumber-revs --drop-empty-revs include main/x/y >
repoA.y.dump".
In the middle of my repoA.y.dump there are several hundred empty padding
revisions. I did a few searches on this list and in Google, but I never
got a clear answer as to why svndumpfilter kept those empty revisions.
Can anyone point me to a reason why they are still there?
Thanks!
Ian

I don't think we ever did a previous import where I allowed empty-revs
in.
I fixed the problem by manually deleting the lines in the svn dump file
and renumbering the revs.

We had the same issue, it seems that if the repos already contains
empty-revs from a previous import, these empty revs are not being
removed by the --drop-empty-revs. Only revisions that are becoming
empty from the current filtering is dropped!
