### What happened
The model picker in an existing native conversation shows a provider icon and truncates long names at the beginning (for example, `…V4-Flash-joybuilder`). The unified picker used by the home / side-chat default composer shows just the model name, so the same selection looks different across surfaces.
Expected: composer model names start at the same left edge without a leading provider icon. Long names should keep their beginning visible and truncate at the end. Provider marks can remain in the dropdown options.
### How to reproduce
1. Configure a model with a long display name, such as `DeepSeek-V4-Flash-joybuilder`.
2. Select it in the home composer and start a native conversation.
3. Compare the model picker in the existing conversation with the home / side-chat default picker.
### Environment
- Source commit: `87217d370`
- OS: macOS 15.7.3
- Surface: Desktop
- Node.js: v24.14.0

Reproduced with the production picker components and desktop styles in an isolated browser fixture:

Took this and then released the claim — it is a visual-consistency fix and I cannot verify rendering changes on this Windows machine (the report is macOS; the two pickers share `model-picker-internals`, so the delta lives in presentation-specific branches and CSS that need the real app or your browser fixture to confirm). The code reading agrees with your diagnosis direction: `ChatModelSwitcher`'s trigger paths attach the provider mark and the start-ellipsizing `TailVisibleLabel`, so the fix is to drop the mark on the closed trigger and switch that label to end-ellipsis for the conversation surface, keeping marks in the dropdown options. Leaving it to someone who can see the pixels.
