Re: SQL Processor and JETProxy JDBC Driver (Cocoon 1.7.3)

I had the same problem with spaces.
Remember that column names become tags in the resulting xml.
This means that column names must be valid for xml tags:
no spaces or special characters.
To overcome the hurdle, use the AS keyword in the query:
SELECT "person name" AS name FROM names

BTW, Donald, why not making the error more informative? :-)
It's not the first time this question arises.

  I used the JetProxy JDBC driver to connect from MSAccess Database.
  when my query is select * from <table>
  The result of XML is :
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/strict.dtd">
    <page>

     <sqlerror message="DOM002 Illegal character"></sqlerror>

    </page>

    <!-- This page was served in 15043 milliseconds by Cocoon 1.7.3 -->

  In the table structure, i have some column name with a space or accent caractere.
  When my query is without this "special" column name, i's OK.
  how i can query this column?

  Thanks

Ok, I'll write the new info in your code in C2, since I'm working on
error handling. :-)
Watch out guys, I'm going to fill your code up with error info! ;-)
