[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-13760) Repositories for packages installed after cluster has been created are not displayed in Ambari admin view or when editing Rrpositories

Sangeeta Ravindran created AMBARI-13760:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Repositories for packages installed after cluster has been created are not displayed in Ambari admin view or when editing Rrpositories
                 Key: AMBARI-13760
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13760
             Project: Ambari
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 2.1.1
            Reporter: Sangeeta Ravindran

If you install additional packages after the cluster has been restarted, the entry for the repository gets added to the repoinfo.xml. However, after restarting ambari server, the repository is not displayed in the Ambari Admin view->Versions->Repostiories or in Admin->Stack and Versions->Versions->Edit Repositories.

This seems to be caused because the repo_version table in Ambari database is missing an entry for the repo of the additional package installed. The entries are added to this table only during cluster creation or when the repositories are updated.
