Connecting to an existing repository

Hi everybody

I've set a a repository with the Jackrabbit web application and Jetty
(running under http://localhost:8080), now I wonder how to sucessfully
connect to this repository using the JCR API (2.0).

The JCR spec shows different ways using the RepositoryFactory or a
ServiceLoader but doesn't state which parameters to use. I also cannot
find this information on the Jackrabbit website.

I've managed to connect to the repository with

 Repository repository = new
URLRemoteRepository("http://localhost:8080/jackrabbit/rmi");

but I'm looking for a more generic way.

Every hint is highly welcome.
