New user and proxy problem
I just today tried out JMeter for the first time. I started with 1.7 beta 2
cuz I wanted to try out the Proxy stuff and it seems to be new with this
release. I got the Proxy defined and started, and it seems to work fine
for hitting local html and related resources. It records the web entries in
the JMeter client just fine . But the first time one of the html pages
tries to invoke a servlet (served up by Tomcat 4.0.1), the browser just
hangs, and as far as I can tell, Tomcat never sees the servlet request
(coming from a POST). If I 'de-proxy' my browser the servlets work just
fine, so I don't think I have a Tomcat issue.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or can check to get more diagnostics on
whatever the hang is (short of compiling and debugging through JMeter
source :-)? I looked in the user archives for this mailing list and didn't
see any similar questions, but I could have missed them. Lemme know if it
would help to post the .jmx file I saved from my last attempt..
TIA for any help...
