Hello,
how do I track and handle various expenses in ofbiz?

Hi Woyce,
My apologies for the late reaction. $work kept me a bit tied up...
So your talking about travel expenses and the like... Out of the box there
are a lot of functionalities that can help you with such. In accounting, of
course, you can register the expenses from petty cash (as gl transactions),
and in assetmaint you can track mileage of cars (and other metered data of
other equipment).
But there is not a (single) solution/application where you could do
something like recording travel expenses for a given period on a project or
campaign. That is why I built a plugin back in 2017 for myself when I had
to do a lot of traveling for a customer who wantedf detailed reporting
regarding my expenses.
What I built allows me to start an expense report relating to either a
project, a marketing campaign or miscellaneous) and subsequently register
the expenses for such. And generate a pdf for that report.
For your convenience I am adding some screenshot of how it looks like.
