Importing Amazon Machine Images using KVM hypervisor?

Dear all,

http://cloudstack.apache.org/docs/en-US/Apache_CloudStack/4.1.0/html/Admin_Guide/import-ami.html

I noted that we can import AMI into CloudStack when using XenServer
hypervisor. Is it possible to do it if we are using KVM hypervisor?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you.

Cheers.

This works with XenServer as AWS also use a version of Xen.

You would probably need to import into XenServer then use VM conversion tools to convert the VM to KVM.
