[FALCON] Using Falcon
Hi
At the moment I'm developing a flex app (mxml) with apache flex 4.8.0 and
flash builder so every day I'll take also the falcon compiler and try to
build the app with it. So if I get compile errors shall I just create JIRA
Tasks with an example or does it not make sense at moment?

We'll get around to it someday, but anyone who wants to help is welcome.

I'll defer to Alex on that.

Ok .. I had two errors but till now I could only one reduce to a simple example. So I'll create a JIRA for it.
So would it make sense if I try to get the mustella compiler run with falcon? I can work on that. I'm going to figure out how mini_run could be extended to run with falcon and the legacy compiler and let u know. Or are there already ideas out here how this should been solved?

Yes, this kind of bug report is useful. Thanks!

I've created 3 jira tasks. Each with an example to reproduce the error.
Please let me know if thats the way it helps you.

I don't agree with Alex. Falcon can compile enough MXML to compile a usable Checkinapp (one of the SDK tests). So I would like to know more about what it CAN'T compile.
But bugs will be useful only if they are reduced to their simplest form without anything extraneous. I don't want to deal with bug reports like "I tried to compile this app and got 50 errors".

Well, mustella is the only large validation suite we have so any Falcon work
should be validated by it.
Gordon has been saying that nobody has been helping out on Falcon. I will
get there soon, but I need to finish up some mustella-on-air stuff and the
FalconJS donation.
Everyone else is welcome to join in.

You mean that mustella generates the swf with falcon instead of the legacy
compiler? Does anybody already work on that?
