[jira] Commented: (CASSANDRA-1673) Add a way to force remove
tombstones before GCGraceSeconds
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-1673?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12974537#action_12974537 ]
Jonathan Ellis commented on CASSANDRA-1673:
-------------------------------------------
The compaction methods already take a gcBefore parameter, which tells it how old tombstones have to be before it can leave them out. Exposing that as an option in the compaction (and cleanup) jmx mbean would be the easiest solution.
