Using Quartz Scheduler with Tapestry
Hello there.
I'd like to use the Quartz scheduler with a Tapestry application, so
that I can check some database records at set intervals (yes I know,
bizarre!).
I was wondering what is the bst way to set this up under Tapestry? I
could just create a class that starts the scehduler when it gets loaded,
but I was thinking that there may be a more elegant ay to do this.
Version 3.0 by the way .... we're a bit behind. ... :-)

You're right, it's simple to use Quartz but it's even simplier to use
it with Spring.

We use the built in Quartz support supplied by Spring without any
problems. In fact it was quite easy, none of us had every used Quartz
and we had our stuff up and running in under an hour.

hiya ray :)
dont know if this will help, but I wrote a hivemodule service that was added
to the eager load contribution which had a init method that started all the
quartz jobs
I was going to try and emulate something like in spring but didnt have the
time.
cheers
