    Description: 
The examples package is a leftover from the early days of the Flink Dataflow Runner.

Once we remove the special support for Flink sources/sinks (BEAM-1993) we can remove the examples for that and therefore have no more reason to have the special examples package.

Once the examples package is removed we can also get rid of the {{flink-runner-parent}} package. And replace it by {{flink-runner}}.
