[VOTE] Peter Courcoux as Committer on Jakarta Turbine
I propose that Peter Courcoux be made a committer to the Jakarta Turbine
project.
Here's a bit about Peter:
I'm a contractor working mainly with server side java and have been using
Turbine since shortly after the 2.1 release. In addition to putting forward
a few patches, I have, for my own projects, added upload progress reporting,
and more recently worked on the Avalon Component Service and the pipeline in
turbine 2.4 and, now that the pipeline is there to support it, will shortly
be putting forward a proposed additional component for turbine which
provides validation services for request parameters and supports and
simplifies the validation of form field submission and page redisplay. For
the future, I am interested in making the pipeline more fine-grained and in
moving functionality from RunData to PipelineData resulting in looser
coupling of services and consequent improvements in the ability to add in
new services. I am also interested in improving the AvalonComponentService
in whatever direction is decided as well as investigating how to make the
upload progress reporting functionality generally available.
