How to know whether politeness policy is well set?

Hi all,

      I am running Nutch to crawl few online repositories and wanted to set politeness policy by changing config settings.(eg:-number of threads,fetcher delay etc)

Is there a way to know whether the config settings we have set is within the boundary of "politeness" or not?
