No space left on device (28)

Dear all, 
I'm trying to get the activemq/openwire-c demo application from apache
activeMQ website work but 
I'm experiencing a problem. When I try to start the demo application I get
the following error 
    "Connecting......Could not connect: No space left on device (28)" 
This error is generated by the amqcs_connect function. 

You can find the code I'm using here: 
   
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/activemq/sandbox/openwire-c/src/examples/main.c

Does anyone know the reason?
