[jira] [Closed] (ROL-1603) Spam Mgt: Auto-check the "Spam" box on
the comments page when a newly added blacklist term is present
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ROL-1603?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Glen Mazza closed ROL-1603.
---------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
MT Blacklist file discontinued; at any rate, once a comment is approved, it's approved whether or not it contains a blacklist term, so no need un-approve comments as a result of a newly added blacklist term.

> Spam Management: Auto-check the "Spam" box on the comments page when a newly added blacklist term is present an existing comment. Currently, when a new blacklist term is added, future comments w/ the term are marked as spam, but not existing comments.
> Yes, I know there may be strain to check existing comments, but it's a major PITA to have to go back and manually mark existing comments as spam -- especially when a bot has just posts a lot of entries w/ the same term(s) that are new additions to the blacklist. Maybe only auto-check comments within the last 1-7 days?
