J1.5 problem: page refresh action returns a logout action

Dear ALL,
I use J1.5 on a Tomcat 4.0.24 (it's old I know :-).
Does anyone know why a refresh (F5) actions on a page for alogged in user 
returns a logout action?
Is this the default behaviour?
Any remedy?
