Resource bundles outside classes directory

Hi all.
 
How would I go about to make TextBundle_xx.properties files placed in
another directory than WEB-INF/classes (say /resources/texts/) available to
the TurbineLocalizationService?
 
Is there some property in the web.xml that adds paths to the classpath or is
there some setting in the TurbineResources.properties? I could not find
anything in the Howtos or Services docs.
