Error using ivy

Hi,

I'm using ivy 2.1.0 with success.
But last week I created the attach ivy.xml for my project with a lot of
dependencies and when I execute the resolve task I get
the follow error

product-build.xml:24: impossible to resolve dependencies:
    java.io.IOException: Resetting to invalid mark

I try delete some of dependencies and I found that the limit was 115
dependencies.
Unfortunately my project need more than 115 dependencies.

Anyone may help me?

Regards,

Maarten,

I added the newline character in ivy.xml and now it works.

Thank you.

Luca.

Re: Error using ivy

Ok, I think it might be caused by your ivy.xml having everything on a single line.
Could you try to enter some newline characters in your ivy.xml, for instance after every XML element?

Maarten

My guess is that Ivy is having a problem with 1 of the ivy.xml files of your dependencies.
Could you send us the verbose log you get when running Ant with the -v option?

There isn't a a specific dependency (I tried change the order and I get the
same error) but it seems the number. If I insert until 115 dependencies all
work fine, if I add another the resolve fail.
I'm using an internal repository based on Apache Archiva.

There isn't a a specific dependency (I tried change the order and I get the
same error) but it seems the number. If I insert until 115 dependencies all
work fine, if I add another the resolve fail.
I'm using an internal repository based on Apache Archiva.

Luca.

Do you know which dependency is failing?
Is it one from a public repository?

Maarten

Subject: Error using ivy

Hi,

I'm using ivy 2.1.0 with success.
But last week I created the attach ivy.xml for my project with a lot of dependencies and when I execute the resolve task I get
the follow error

product-build.xml:24: impossible to resolve dependencies:
  java.io.IOException: Resetting to invalid mark

I try delete some of dependencies and I found that the limit was 115 dependencies.
Unfortunately my project need more than 115 dependencies.

Anyone may help me?

Regards,
