Looking at this more, I seem most of 2.8.x versions missing the sources
The first version above 2.8.3 to have sources is [http://central.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/hadoop/hadoop-common/2.9.1/]
There's version below it that has sources too: [http://central.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/hadoop/hadoop-common/2.8.1/]
