The correct spelling is "descending" and that works for me. (sort03, sort09,
etc. test it.) Then I tried sorterr02, which has an invalid value for the
order attribute. I got the correct message, but I also saw a
Warning: popContextNodeList when stack is empty!
so maybe we should try single-stepping through some of this code.
(I was using 2.4D1 in my tests.
