XmlMapper problem using Tomcat 3.1

When tomcat 3.1 starts, I get the following error

XmlMapper: Can't find method setDescription in Wrapper(start null) CLASS
class org.apache.tomcat.core.ServletWrapper

Does anybody know what it means? Can it be, that it has something to do
with calling servlets at start-up time?
