Since the upgrade from PMD from 7.26.0 to 7.27.0 in NIFI-16306, the build has been outputting the following warning message:

 90|     <rule ref="category/java/errorprone.xml/AvoidUsingOctalValues" />
 91|     <rule ref="category/java/errorprone.xml/BrokenNullCheck" />
 92|     <rule ref="category/java/errorprone.xml/CheckSkipResult" />
         ^^^^^ Discontinue using Rule name category/java/errorprone.xml/CheckSkipResult as it is scheduled for removal from PMD. PMD 8.0.0 will remove support for this Rule.

Per the PMD 7.27.0 [release notes|https://github.com/pmd/pmd/releases/tag/pmd_releases%2F7.27.0] , rule UnusedReturnValue should replace CheckSkipResult
