[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRFLOW-6797?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17073591#comment-17073591 ]
nexoriv commented on AIRFLOW-6797:
----------------------------------
This is very important tool features for large organisations.
One of the most problematic scenarios is when you have many people creating dags and you need a way to control and validate what they are doing automatically - Accessing pools / variables and many stuff like that.
> Create policy hooks for DAGs
> ----------------------------
>
> Key: AIRFLOW-6797
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRFLOW-6797
> Project: Apache Airflow
> Issue Type: New Feature
> Components: scheduler
> Affects Versions: 1.10.9
> Reporter: Matthew Bruce
> Assignee: Kaxil Naik
> Priority: Minor
>
> Policy hooks exist to modify task objects just before they are run:
>
> Similar functionality for DAGs at loading time so that they could be rejected or modified would be useful (i.e. to validate DAG naming, etc.)
