Writer does not shrink the vertical space allotted to it.

Issue ID: 126206
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Reducing the size a Math formula embedded in Writer
does not shrink the vertical space allotted to it.
Product: Writer
Version: 4.1.1
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P5
Component: formatting
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: pcurrivan@gmail.com
Demo video: http://youtu.be/TTrPEI5jcJQ
The vertical space allotted a Math formula in Writer is not updated when the
formula object reduces in size. You must manually delete and reenter the
newline after the formula to get the correct spacing.

Thank you Regina, I will add a space after my formulas for now, but hopefully
this can be fixed eventually. I may try to fix it myself...

Indeed the problem is the same for all types of embedded objects when they are
anchored as characters : pictures, charts, formulas, etc.

Type a blank after the formula. This is likely a duplicate of bug #119324.
