Web Services Transactions

Hello,

Our local XML User's Group list recently had a small thread on XML 
transactions.  I read a bit about BTP and WS-T, but wanted to ping this 
list and ask.  Do you all know of any web services transaction 
management, similar to J2EE or COM+ transactions?  What is the current 
"state of the art"?  Does Apache have anything in the pipeline to 
support this?
