[ANNOUNCE] Struts 1.3.6 Test Build available

The test build of Struts 1.3.6 is now available.

No determination as to the quality ('alpha,' 'beta,' or 'GA') of
Struts 1.3.6 has been made, and at this time it is simply a "test
build". We welcome any comments you may have, and will take all
feedback into account if a quality vote is called for this build.

Release Notes:
http://struts.apache.org/1.x/userGuide/release-notes.html

Download the distribution here:
http://people.apache.org/builds/struts/1.3.6/

Maven2 Staging repository:
http://people.apache.org/builds/struts/1.3.6/m2-staging-repository/

Thanks to everyone in the Struts community for contributing time towards
logging defects, contributing code, and doing the build. Most
especially, I'd like to give a big public THANK YOU to WENDY SMOAK who
led me through my first time as Release Manager, which otherwise I'd be
hopelessly defeated by these Unix tools.

Onward to 1.3.7...

Paul

We usually leave a week, to give people a chance to try it out and provide
their feedback.

Is there a typical wait time between releasing a test and calling a vote
on it? 36hrs? 1 week?

What a bummer. I am sorry I missed this, although the cookbook had an
example and this didn't happen to me. But anyway, at least it's fixed.
Thanks Niall for doing this.

I found a problem with Struts 1.3.6 in the LinkTag:

   http://issues.apache.org/struts/browse/STR-2998

I was going to try and implement version 1.3.6 at work - but since it
makes every page in my app look strange (due to the syles being
applied to the link x2) - I can't and it makes this version un-useable
for me.
