Download link via download.cgi
having worked on the download page I saw that the links are generated using download.cgi. Looking at other projects such as
Apache Lucene or Apache Camel they are using /dyn/closer ...
Is there are preferred solution to this i.e. shall we also use /dyn/close? Couldn't find the docs to which one is the latest.

Looks like our current solution is maybe outdated. I've found the following
information [1] and [2] starting here [3]
[1] https://infra.apache.org/release-download-pages.html
[2]
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/INFRA/Download+page+%28mirror+script%29+migration+steps
[3] http://www.apache.org/dev/
I'm +1 if you like to update our process
