RE : How to avoid checking for updates
Use offline (-o in maven cli) (try mvn -h to see options).
Or configure an interval in the repo declaration in your settings or
pom.

Objet : How to avoid checking for updates
When ever i run the mvn site command, the maven checks for updates which
i want to avoid. Please find below the console statements. Its trying to
find updates for
org.apache.maven.doxia. Any ideas?
$ mvn site
