Admin handler are persisted in solr.xml
Erick Erickson created SOLR-4347:
------------------------------------
Summary: Insure that newly-created cores via Admin handler are persisted in solr.xml
Key: SOLR-4347
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-4347
Project: Solr
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 4.1, 5.0
Reporter: Erick Erickson
Assignee: Erick Erickson
Priority: Minor
>From Andy, commenting on SOLR-4196
I noticed a bug in Solr-4.1 release that if there are unloaded transient cores in solr.xml, and a new core is created via the admin handler, the record of the core in solr.xml is removed on persist.
Creating as a separate bug, I don't want to lose it, but I havent verified it yet.
Thanks for bringing this up Andy!
