[users@httpd] CGI file permissions reset to non-executable every night

I have a Red Hat 7.3 server with Apache 2.0.40. In my Apache cgi directory
I have a set of cgi (PERL) files. The problem I'm having is that every
night the permissions on my cgi files are reset to non-executable. I have
to go in every morning and set them to executable again. Any idea on what
is doing this?

Thanks,
Kenny

What time is the chmod on the files happening? Have you checked the log
files to see what happens around that time? Generally, files just can't
change their permissions during the night. Either someone is doing it or
there is something like a Cron job running that does it.
