I appreciate the help. After two weeks of working on this migration, I am
able to get the login screen up, but cannot login.
This is what I am doing/have done:
     - I am using Maven 1.0 and Turbine 2.3.2., Tomcat 5.5.27
     - I found and read docs like 'Turbine-Mavn How-To',
'Turbine2/Tutorial/ScreensAndActions',
'TDK-Maven - Turbine Wiki', the Migration Documents (2.1 to 2.2,
2.2 to 2.3),
Torque Tutorial, and various mailing list posts, etc.
     - I got the 'helloworld' app to work on Turbine 2.3.2
     - I ‘setup’ myapp and moved my schema.xml, skins, actions, templates,
etc from my old application to the new one.
     - I changed various things as directed by info from the migration
documents and various mailing posts to get rid of obsolete items.
     - I used ‘maven torque:om’ to generate the om’s.
     - I have compiled and deployed my application to tomcat using maven.
     - When I access it from the browser, I get my login screen with the
following issues…
		1) The login screen is presented, but I am unable to login
(“Error while logging in. Please try
again”)
		2) The skins are not being used
I see messages like this in the velocity
log…
                                      $ui.dataColor is not a valid
reference.
I see this message in turbine.log…
                                      ERROR
org.apache.turbine.services.pull.util.UIManager -

Cannot load skin: default
The skins.props file is in the directory
structure
                                      of
/webapps/myapp/resources/ui/skins/default.

I can't get past this login problem. Any ideas? Thanks!

Which database are you using? If you can send me your property files
(offlist) - I would be happy to check them out.
