[naming][site] Publishing

The [naming] site needs to either be restored to its state prior to 4/24
(best) or updated using what I pushed to
http://people.apache.org/~akarasulu/rsynced-sites/directory/subprojects/naming/

I can't seem to get the replication to work. I tried both publish and
also site.deploy.live=true. I need to leave now and will not have ssh
access until this evening. If someone with adequate permissions could
publish from staging or restore the site in the mean time that would be
great; otherwise let me know what I am doing wrong and I will fix it
this evening.

thx,

Phil

Will look into it within the hour.

Aeeeiii ... looks like we still got files in there owned by Trustin but
their group perms are not set with +w. So I still can not publish
correctly as can be seen here:

http://rafb.net/paste/results/YCX0NU39.html

Taking a look at the first entry above ...

-bash-2.05b$ ls -l
/www/directory.apache.org/subprojects/naming/apidocs/org/apache/naming/java/class-use/javaURLContextFactory.html
-rw-r--r-- 1 trustin directory 5812 Apr 24 01:24
/www/directory.apache.org/subprojects/naming/apidocs/org/apache/naming/java/class-use/javaURLContextFactory.html

Do we just need to get Trustin to set his umask in a profile file?

Alex

Should be fixed now.

Hey Phil,

I tried to publish the naming stuff but I got a problem pushing some
apidocs due to permission issues. I think you have some directories and
files out there in ..

/www/directory.apache.org/subprojects/naming/apidocs

that are still under the apcvs group. I could not change them over to
the directory group. When you get a chance could you massage them so
others can deploy naming via the directory group.

BTW I did a site:publish after issuing a maven multiproject:site in the
naming top level. That cool?

Thanks,
Alex
