[users@httpd] Novice in need of help!

I have got Apache 2.0.46 set-up on a Win XP machine with php 4.3.2 and Mysql
chucked in for fun! All appears to be working oK but I am a tad lost on
configuring this as an SSL.
Basically I am trying to get OScommerce to work (if you don't know it it is
an open source ecomerce solution) so that I can test it but it requires an
SSL to work. Now I have mod_ssl but I think I need openssl as well, am I
correct? If so where can I get it from? And how do i configure it to work?!!
i.e. does it need to go into bin/ and be run from there?
Any help or hints would be great as I have only been playing with Apache,
PHP and Mysql for about 12 hours total!

Thanks in advance!
S

[users@httpd] Newbie: Needs help on how module works.

Posted by Yansheng Lin <ya...@isogis.com>.
Hi, I am not sure if I understand the following directives. It was set up by
someone else...

LoadModule webapp_module modules/mod_webapp.so
#AddModule mod_webapp.c
WebAppConnection conn warp localhost:8008
WebAppDeploy ROOT conn /main

I have to add another application under the same domain. But it doesn't work.
The test went ok, but I didn't see the 'deployed' part?

LoadModule webapp_module modules/mod_webapp.so
#AddModule mod_webapp.c
WebAppConnection conn warp localhost:8008
WebAppDeploy ROOT conn /main
+ WebAppConnection conn2 warp localhost:8008
+ WebAppDeploy ROOT_TEST conn2 /main_test

What else is needed?

Thanks!

That should come with the SSL and OpenSSL installed and configured.
Make sure to enable them in the conf files.
