how to use sitetree in cocoon modules

The task is to generate annotated table content of site section.

The Right Thing should be to write something like Cocoon XPathDirectoryGenerator,
which will use sitetree to get children nodes and retrieve them properly.

I guess i should write some xsp and access sitetree component(?) from it.
Where could i look for how to do it ?

Question was to map node pathes to file urls for cinclude.
it is solved with DocumentIndex transformer.

You can fetch files by http, cocoon:// or read them from filesystem
directly (usage: content/authoring/yourfile.xml)

This is exactly what i need.
I missed it since it is only (half) documented in javadoc.

You probably have to implement a transformer.

Use publication.getDocumentBuilder().buildDocument() to build the
document object and document.getFile() to obtain the file.

You find some example code in the DocumentIndexTransformer.

I've got an idea.

But what is right way to form urls in cincludes to get xml source of files ?

That wouldn't be a clean solution as the mapping between
document IDs and file paths is handled by the
DocumentIdToPathMapper.

Can't you use the sitetree as a basis for your page?

sitetree -> extend with XInclude statements -> XInlcudeTransformer

You can get the authoring and live node ...
Looks like it lacks some javadocs.

The only thing i see here is using Cocoon XPathDirectoryGenerator,
and then convert file pathes into document-id with xslt.

And what for is SiteTree input module ?

Wouldn't it be sufficient to use XSLT and XInclude?

If not - Josias recently implemented a generator which presents
the sitetree in a special way, maybe you should ask him.
