Is anyone working on iPlanet integration?

I hope this is an appropriate place to ask this question - I've just joined
this list because I've not been able to find the answer or a better place to
ask it.

Is anybody working on an iPlanet / NSAPI equivalent of the mod_webapp / warp
connector stuff?

If yes, it there an ETA for it?

If no, does anyone have any opinions on whether it would be a good idea to
volunteer for this? Note that I'm not volunteering yet - I'm just trying to
gauge whether it would be a realistic project to take on. I've done a fair
amount of NSAPI stuff, but nothing as big as this - though I'm hoping that
most of the hard work has already been done with the Apache version, and
most of the work would be common to both.

Trying... Well if mod_jk has something it should be reused in mod_webapp ;-)

Not yet. It is in the plans after Apache 1.3 but still. I have reason to
believe that the WebApp module _is_ the way to go, currently, but
apparently, I'm alone (apart from a couple of guys who are using it and
sending back a ton of bug reports).

If it was for me... Not less than two months. I have just two hands and 24
hours/day.... Also, I don't know NSAPI at all, so, first of all, I need to
be a good scholar and put down my head on some books.

If you want to volunteer, that would be AWESOME. Most of the work has been
done already in the Apache version, or better, in the WebApp library. So,
the only thing left to do is an adaptor between the NSAPI interface, and the
WebApp library interfaces... Basically, copying stuff around. The
mod_webapp.c module, per se, is pretty skinny.

Check it out...
