The Netscape cookie draft defines the following expiry date format: Wdy,
DD-Mon-YYYY HH:MM:SS GMT. The time zone attribute is not optional and must
always be GMT. If the time zone is omitted, this constitutes a violation of the
spec (at least imo) and renders the expiry date ambiguous. I personally do not
mind GMT being used instead of the local time zone, but some may find this point
of view controversial. What's your take?
