Commons Net 2.1 artifacts need to be removed from Central
The artifacts here:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/commons-net/commons-net/2.1/
were inadvertently deployed. Can we get these removed?
Thanks!
Phil

However, the maven-metadata.xml files [1] & [2] still contain a
reference to 2.1 - could those references also be removed please?

This is why using the Nexus infrastructure is a good thing.

A language that doesn’t affect the way you think about programming is not worth knowing.

I am not sure exactly how it happened. I think the RM was intending
to create an RC using the Maven release plugin and ended up doing an
unintentional push to the rsynch repo. What is strange is that I
can't find a [repo] message with the artifacts in it from the time
period (mid-March) when it looks like it was published. I don't
think we (Commons) had yet been set up to use Nexus at that time, so
it would have had to come through the ibiblio-rsync repo.

I just removed the pre-image from m2-ibiblio-rsynh (verifying that
that is in fact how the artifacts ended up replicated).
Thanks for the quick response.

Removed.
How did you inadvertently release it and sync it to central?
